Job Title: Travel RN – Long Term Care Location: Mayo Clinic Start
Date: 03/30/2026 End Date: 06/30/2026 Hours/Shift: 36 hours/week,
3×12 hr shifts, 6 PM – 6 AM Job Description: The RN is responsible
for coordinating nursing care including direct patient care,
patient/family education, and transitions of care. Supports
professional nursing practice across settings to meet patient and
family needs. Functions within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional
Practice Model. Responsibilities: - Assess, plan, implement, and
evaluate patient care. - Provide bedside care for long-term care
patients. - Administer medications and manage IV therapy. - Monitor
patient vitals and report changes. - Educate patients and families
on care and procedures. - Maintain accurate patient charts and
documentation. - Collaborate with healthcare team for discharge
planning. Requirements: - Active RN license (MN or applicable
state) - BLS (AHA) required - Minimum 1 year Long Term Care
experience or 2 years acute care experience - Excellent
communication skills Preferred: - Experience in long-term care or
