Job Description Job Description Job Title: Sr. Accountant Employment Type: Contract to Hire Location: Eden Prairie, MN (Hybrid schedule with weekly onsite presence required in Minnesota, only local candidates will be eligible) Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00 / Hourly / Dependent on applicable experience Benefits: This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Local Minnesota applicants only. We’re partnering with a respected healthcare organization in the Twin Cities that’s looking to bring on a Senior Accountant for contract support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, supporting a close process, and stepping into a team where accuracy and collaboration truly matter. In this role, you’ll play a key part in month-end close activities, support financial reporting, and help keep accounting operations running smoothly during a period of increased demand. Responsibilities: Support month-end and period-end close activities Prepare and post journal entries and accruals Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis Support audit requests and documentation Partner with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financials Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 4 years of accounting experience, ideally at the senior level Strong experience with month-end close and reconciliations Healthcare industry experience preferred ERP system experience required Strong Excel skills Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment Why Work with Addison Finance & Accounting?
